Death Penalty Mitigation

Our work on death penalty cases began in 1998 with the Office of the Public Defender in the 12th Judicial Circuit. Nancy had the privilege of working with esteemed attorneys Adam Tebrugge of Tebrugge Legal, and the late James Slater on some of the area’s most high-profile cases.  Both attorneys have a reputation for excellence and were instrumental in the planning of the Florida Public Defender Life Over Death Seminars.

This passion has continued since starting her own investigative firm.
Nancy and her staff will work diligently to provide you with:

All Defendant and Family Records
Location and interviews with Family Members and other pertinent persons
Timelines depicting your client’s family life and work, social and medical history
Reassurance to the Defendant and their Family
Assistance in developing a mitigation theme
Conflict resolution and assistance

Our devotion and commitment is readily apparent to the inmates we work with as well, thus creating the necessary bond to pull out the tough information in some tough situations. We’ve been there and have the expertise and the passion to get the job done.

Cheaters: Infidelity Investigations

When is it time to hire someone to investigate your spouse?

In our experience, by the time you’ve gotten to this point, you have a pretty good clue your other half is up to something.  Some people already know exactly what is going on while most others just have suspicions. It’s that need to know the truth which fuels most of these investigations.

Call and speak with one of our investigators. The consultation is free and we can help you with some ideas you can do on your own to get more information. What you shouldn’t do is make accusations and ask too many questions.  That will only tip them off and make it even harder to get at the truth once they know you suspect them.

If you still have more questions than answers, you may determine you wish to conduct surveillance. We have expert female and male investigators available to conduct custom tailored investigations to help you get at the truth.

Rarely is a client completely blindsided by our findings, and what you do with the information we gather is up to you. But we believe that knowledge is power and it’s always a good idea to know who you can trust.

Our investigations are professional, affordable and completely confidential.

Background Investigations

Employment Application Verification and Screening

They have the look.  They have the resume.  And they “talk the talk.“
But has this applicant really “walked the walk?“

Social Networking and Internet Dating Verifications

Is this person who they claim to be? Is this even a real person?
Internet dating has become quite mainstream, and with it, so have the scammers and players who are out there posting their lies right along with the legitimate people looking for love.

Common sense is a must. Don’t put your heart, your finances and even your personal safety at risk. Any legitimate person will give you enough verifiable information to check out their story. And if they won’t, well, their hiding something, plain and simple.

Don’t be a victim. It’s always sad when we get calls after the fact, and usually, upon closer look, the red flags are there, but were ignored until it was too late.

The time to check things out is before you bring them home to meet the family, loan them the money or turn over the keys to your car, your home or your heart.

We provide background checks designed to meet any budget or need.

Internet Daters

Information from actual cases

Don’t Give Your Home Address To Someone You’ve Never Met In Person
The scammer will say they want to send flowers or gifts, and often do so to get you on the hook.  Sounds nice? A client was forced to move when she refused to send money to her handsome military guy and received repeated death threats as a result. The military guy is a common scam. The photos provided her were mined from the internet and the soldier depicted had no idea his image was being used to commit a crime. The local authorities were NO HELP whatsoever.

Do Not Loan Money To Someone You’ve Never Met In Person

Typically, you are contacted by a very charming individual from out of town, possibly even out of the country. Your relationship develops very quickly and the “love” blossoms, some continuing on for over six months via telephone calls, chats and email.  However every scheduled in-person meeting gets canceled at the last minute, due to some emergency. Eventually, the request for money comes in; You can be sure it will sound like a good reason, but once you’ve sent money… more requests will roll in. Should you start to ask questions or push for a meeting, you receive a lecture about the importance of “trust”. Eventually you get word that sadly, your sweetheart has passed away. One victim was even provided hospital/cemetery details and was directed to a highly sophisticated website indicating he and his “dearly departed” had several hundred thousand dollars on deposit!  All bogus!!!

Do not allow someone you’ve met online into your home until you have independently confirmed the person’s full name, address, and occupation.

Open a separate email account just for your online dating use.

Players are everywhere. Many persons state they are divorced when in fact, they are only separated, and in many cases, still living at home with their spouse. Many jobs require out of town travel and the temptation to have a workweek lover in a different city is strong and relatively easy to pull off.  Be suspicious if your out of town lover is totally silent on the weekends and you don’t hear from them until they are back in town.

This information is not meant to scare you, but rather advise you on how to have a smarter, safer online dating experience.   We know many couples who met online and it remains a great dating source.  Just know that any legit person will provide enough verifiable information to be independently confirmed.   Ask lots of questions and don’t get “sweet-talked or bullied” into things which are not comfortable.  Think about confiding in a trusted friend and then listen to their opinion before doing something you may later regret.

We provide simple or extended background checks designed to meet any budget or need. GO >
